description

Wie spielt man Domino?

Four players are involved in this game.

Players A and B play any scene of their choosing. After a while, usually once a beat has been reached, the scene ends. One of them - A - now leaves the playing area with a clear reason for the exit. Player B then has a solo scene. He holds an (inner) monologue about any topic that concerns or moves him as a figure or character. This should only relate indirectly to the previous scene; the point is rather to discover a further facet of the portrayed figure. When B has finished the solo scene, C enters the stage. Now C and B play a scene that, in turn, has (directly) nothing to do with the previous two scenes. B, however, is preserved as the same figure/character. After a while this duo scene also comes to an end. Now B leaves the playing area (with a justified reason) and figure/character C has his or her own solo scene, which again has only an indirect connection to the preceding scenes. Then C and D play together, then D plays the solo. Finally A enters and plays with D, and the sequence of scenes ends with a solo by A.

It is not (or less) about telling a single coherent story here, but rather about developing the portrayed characters. Because in the three scenes that each figure plays, a new facet of the portrayed personality can be revealed again and again.
