description

Wie spielt man Wink Murder?

All players walk around the room. Beforehand, the facilitator has secretly chosen one player who can kill with a wink. This player now tries, as inconspicuously as possible, to take out as many fellow players as possible by winking at them. Anyone who is hit falls down dead and stays on the floor.

At the same time, everyone has to try to figure out who the killer is. As soon as someone thinks they know, they call out the suspect's name. If their guess is wrong, they die as well.

Variants
- The facilitator picks both a wink-murderer and a police officer. The murderer can still kill with a simple wink. But if they wink at the police officer, they are arrested and have lost the round. The other players are not allowed to expose the murderer, even if they catch them in the act.
- The victim takes ten more steps before collapsing. This makes hunting down the killer noticeably harder.
- When a player thinks they have figured out the killer, they walk over to the facilitator and share the suspicion only with them. That way the killer cannot be identified by process of elimination among the remaining players.

The game is even more fun when the players try to act out a scene, e.g. a turn-of-the-century gathering on a cruise ship. Each player takes on a character within this picture and tries to play them convincingly throughout the entire game.
